  • Your ‘Walk the Dog’ experience stands apart from conventional workshops thanks to our unique ‘Rule of Three’ facilitation principle.

Why Use the Rule of Three?

The Rule of Three is a powerful framework that simplifies complexity, fosters balance, and keeps participants fully engaged throughout the session.

    • Simplicity and Logic
By breaking down ideas into three key elements, we make it easier for your team and our facilitators to stay focused, organized, and on track.

    • Balance and Clarity
The Rule of Three creates an equilibrium between listening and action, giving everyone a clear sense of progress while avoiding overwhelm.

    • Team Expertise
We bring three experts from our team to run the session. This trio ensures a diversity of perspectives, fresh ideas, and dynamic energy—making the workshop more enjoyable and effective than a single facilitator ever could.

    Retention and Results

Research shows that information delivered in small, structured bites is more memorable. By following a consistent three-part pattern, we enhance your team’s ability to retain and apply the insights they gain.

The result? A simple yet vibrant dynamic that generates exponential ideas and strategies—all while making the experience engaging and fun for everyone involved.

  • ‘Walk the Dog’ is not a one-size-fits-all methodology.

    A Unique Experience

Each programme is carefully crafted to suit the specific needs and aspirations of the organisation or individual participating. We do not provide a pre-determined agenda or a fixed list of outcomes—these emerge naturally through the adventure of discovery.

    Client-Focused Customization

While many business challenges and opportunities share common ground, the nuances of your organisation are unique. The ‘Walk the Dog’ approach adapts to your specific context, ensuring that the experience is meaningful and impactful for both individuals and teams.

    Example Agendas

Example agendas are available on request, providing inspiration and clarity while remaining flexible to your unique goals and circumstances.

Richard Corlett – Director Bold Consultancy

Bold Consultancy embarked on a “Walk the Dog” with the Ellan stone team in order to refine our offering and give us a little more focus and direction. Things were good but we knew we needed to make changes to our business model.

We didn’t quite bargain on what a change the meeting would bring to our business. The whole process was structured featuring thought provoking questions and challenged our current processes, some leaving us really having to dig deep for answers. None of it was uncomfortable however, the team are great and easy to get along with and a sense of humour carried throughout the day making the time fly by. As the day goes by things become apparent as the future is seemingly magicked out of your thoughts and answers and turned into actions.

By the end of our time together we were very clear on where we were going, which was down a different path to the one we were on. Not completely, just a fork in the road. The key point plan provided after the meeting helped solidify our thoughts further and gave us real direction. It helped us begin implementation quickly and with real focus. Thoroughly recommended.
